Chapter 61
âHello Capprona, or should I say Cappa?â I find myself unable to speak; he even has my voice. I think back to the dream when I saw him in the mirror and brace myself for an attack, but it doesnât come.
âSo we finally meet. I must confess, itâs strange seeing you seeing me, even though I must say that Iâm definitely better looking.â
I still cannot speak as it is too much for me to comprehend. I just stare at the being in front of me; it is me but itâs not me.
âI know you were born a cripple but I wasnât aware you were a mute,â he chuckles, âCome on we donât really need an introduction, do we? I am Capprona and yes I am you and you are me and we are home.â
The wall with the engraved writing vanishes as if an apparition exposed to the light of my other. I now find myself in a light blue space with no walls around me and I can see miniature planets and galaxies exploding and reforming. On what I presume is the ground I see thousands of beings being born and watch stunned as I see them growing to adulthood in the space of seconds and turning old and dying within the same amount of time. A sphere flies around the space at unbelievable speed like a charged comet. Seeing the sphere I briefly think back to the room of statues where I saw my statue with its outstretched hand trying catch what looks like the same sphere.
âCome on young Capprona take a better look.â He puts his arm around my shoulder and leads me into what looks like a miniature universe. I see star systems which I recognise and many which I do not. Everything around me is moving so fast I donât know where to look. There is a 35ft tall metallic statue on my right hand side whose eyes seem to follow me. I have no words with which to speak, this is just so surreal. I pray for Aluz to wake me.
âI am you, you are me,â Capprona repeats once again.
âHow? This is a dream,â I splutter.
âYoung Lord everything is relative to time, even dreams. Iâm the original Capprona and you are the original Capprona, mentally and spiritually anyway. I know everything that has happened and everything that will happen. The walls you have just seen date back to the dawn of creation and go all the way to the sunset of time. I have travelled to their birth and I have travelled to their end. I have seen what has been and I know what will be. This is our home and everything you will ever need is here in a place that exists outside of the time stream. Iâm the past and youâre the future. The fact that you are here means that I died and you canât repeat my fate as we Gods are only allowed one death and I, or should I say we, have already suffered that fate.
